Precautions for using a hand chain hoist.

A chain block(or hand chain hoist)is a commonly used lifting tool capable of handling loads ranging from several tons to tens of tons.Improper operation may lead to serious safety accidents,so strict adherence to operating specifications is crucial during use.Below are the safety precautions for operating a chain block:

1.Prior to operation, ensure the load chain is properly aligned without twisting or kinking.Chain knots may cause jamming during lifting operations.

2.Prior to operation, conduct a test lift by raising the load to a minimal height and halting.Verify the chain block ‘s proper functioning and confirm braking stability.

3.The load being lifted must never exceed the chain block’s rated capacity.

4.Angled or side pulling of loads is strictly prohibited,as such operations may cause hazardous working conditions.

5.Operators must not stand on the load or leave suspended loads unattended in mid-air,as this creates critically hazardous lifting conditions.

6.Operators shall apply pulling force to the hand chain with smooth, steady and consistent motion throughout the operation, maintaining mechanical equilibrium to prevent dynamic shock loads.

7.Maintenance operations on the chain block must never be conducted under loaded conditions. All servicing shall strictly be performed only after complete load removal and system depressurization.
